My Burberry

It’s no secret that I am all about those Burberry vibes! So when it came to choosing a reward from work, I excitedly jumped at the opportunity to pick the My Burberry fragrance. Grinning wickedly, I spritzed it eager to relish in the aroma and as anticipated, it instantly evoked happy memories of my favourite Regent Street destination, Thomas’s.

My Burberry is not a typical choice for me as I am a Tom Ford Private Blend gal however, this is the scent of Burberry Regent Street and a reminder of many happy London days, therefore I am so pleased and proud to add it to my collection.

Coincidently, I had just ordered a Burberry Beauty lipstick from the Full Kisses range – Light Crimson No.517, a beautiful coral pink shade I have been trying to locate after spying in the Covent Garden store back in April. The complimentary next day delivery and gift wrap service is the greatest I have come across, just look at that beautiful packaging!

Β “My Burberry is a joyful scent that captures the essence of a spring garden with blooming rain-tipped flowers. It is a bright grand floral with notes of sweet pea and lemon flower fused with a heart of peonies, peach flower and freesia, rounded with delicate notes of rain-tipped Damask roses, white moss and a touch of musk.”

There are few scents that I relate to; Lime Basil Mandarin from Jo Malone makes me feel at ease and smells of my mum, Mademoiselle by Coco Chanel is unmistakably my sister and Noir de Noir from Tom Ford is my signature and makes me feel like myself. I gladly add My Burberry to that list, as it produces a luxurious smirk and wonderful recollections.
