Clarins HydraQuench Cream | Say Goodbye to Dry Skin!

I have just purchased my third jar of the Clarins HydraQuench moisturising face cream and I still haven’t done a raving blog post on it. This is so overdue!

Much like the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream, which I still adore by the way, the Clarins HydraQuench cream is richly moisturising and smells divine! The silky consistency glides over the skin effortlessly and still has that luxuriousness to it. The non-oily formula firms the skin and the creamy gel texture promotes an immediate cooling effect as it is absorbed. It is also amazing underneath makeup or mixed in with your foundation, as it adds a glorious radiance to your complexion as well as sheering out that full coverage.

I depend on the HydraQuench cream morning, night and before makeup application and have been doing so for months. It is perfect for my dehydrated and dry skin since it has such a hydrating formula. This cream is especially ideal for the colder months as those pesky dry patches appear!

It leaves my skin smooth, soothed and hydrated, also when I miss a few days and switch to something else, I certainly notice the difference. I would say it is as good as the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream but perhaps not as rich. In terms of value for money, the Clarins HydraQuench retails for £35 for 50ml, which I think is amazing! In comparison, Magic Cream is £70 for 50ml. It is also available with an SPF 15 formula, but I personally prefer the one without, since you don’t want to use a moisturiser at night that contains an SPF.

I am on my third jar and intend on picking up the other hydrating products from this line. I am so impressed with this cream especially since Clarins isn’t a brand I would traditionally gravitate towards. Please do try it for yourself, because this is a jar of wonder and a staple in my routine!
