I find unplanned and spontaneous spending sprees are always the best! I had no intention on buying new straighteners or a hairdryer for that matter, however, when I spied this ghd Rose Gold Deluxe set, I couldn’t not!
My typically dull and lifeless locks have recently come into their own, I don’t actually think my hair has ever looked so good. It’s like I woke up one morning and they were twice as long and twice as lush! In order to ensure this miraculous transformation stays strong, I indulged in this ghd set, paddle brush & mirror.
I’ve started blow drying my hair section by section with the Air Hairdryer and I can already see a difference in the volume and shine.
The ghd Air Hairdryer is professional strength at 2,100 Watt, it has variable power and temperature controls, along with a 3m cable. The set also comes with two concentrator nozzles, perfect to use with the paddle brush.
It also looks super glam with the rose gold accents. I find strong hairdryers make such a difference, especially when you have long and thick hair, making a drawn out task easy and efficient.
My sister was gifted the original ghd straightener around 2004 and she still uses them now… after 11 years! Investing in a quality pair is definitely worth it.
“The ghd V rose gold classic styler features smooth black plates with ceramic heaters that glide effortlessly through the hair, making styling quicker and easier regardless of hair type or length. Contoured edges help to create party-perfect curls and waves with a high-shine finish. A protective plate guard, automatic sleep mode and universal voltage make this the perfect go-to styler.”
I didn’t think I would love them as much as I do, but they’re so pretty and heat to temperature in seconds. This particular set didn’t come with a case for the straighteners however that doesn’t bother me at all. For those that travel often, ghd do sell them on their own and that comes with a case.
I am head over heals for the rose gold finish on this classic style, so luxe and sexy! You can never go wrong with rose gold, am I right ladies?! I do believe they’re limited edition, so don’t hesitate if you’ve fallen madly in love, like me!
I have to say, my favourite out of these has to be the paddle brush. It makes blow drying effortless and adds so much shine, I don’t know how it does it!
For long hair, a paddle brush is always a good idea, it definitely keeps the tangles at bay! When I got it home, my Dad said, ‘that must be a fancy brush if it comes in a box!’
I don’t think it was too expensive either, definitely worth the money. I bought a new clip as well, to make sectioning off my hair easier… hair ties can get so annoying!
To go with my new hair tools, I picked up a makeup mirror from Jasper Conran. I have had my eye on this for so long and finally got round to getting it. It looks stunning on my vanity and has a pivot to get the mirror at the perfect angle… Find your light ladies!
I must be really behind but I only just realised that GHD stands for Good Hair Day! Well, I’ve certainly been having many of those recently, I couldn’t imagine life without them now.
The EKD stamp of approval is all over these! What’s your go-to for a good hair day? I’d love to know!
