My go-to moisturiser is and I’m pretty sure always will be, Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream. This is a product seriously worth the hype, I did a review here if you want to know more.
Since I did that review, I’ve had some requests for a cheaper alternative since 50ml Magic Cream retails for £70. I have been trying and testing many and I think Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré is the closest bet.
“Lait-Crème Concentré Nourishing Moisturiser has a creamy milk consistency which leaves a satin veil of moisture on even the driest of skin types and leaves the complexion plumped, smooth and incredibly soft. Signs of dryness and discomfort are eliminated whilst the skin is left beautifully moisturised, nourished and repaired with a revitalised and radiant appearance.”
I have found Crème Concentré doesn’t reduce my dry skin as well as Magic Cream however it is a good dupe. I find it very moisturising with a lovely scent that only lingers for a moment.
It melts into your skin effortlessly and it’s creamy constancy is lovely to work with. This rich cream is certainly one for the winter months if your complexion is suffering.
“A truly versatile face cream, Lait Crème Concentré Nourishing Moisturiser can be used as a primer, moisturiser and makeup remover and is a real beauty secret favoured by professional dermatologists for decades.”
I have been using it as a makeup primer also and I’ve found my makeup goes on really flawlessly and will definitely be staying in my kit.
For 30ml this was just £12.99 which is super inexpensive. I believe 75ml is around £20. I picked mine up from feelunique.
This is definitely one to try, I’m pretty impressed!
