Chanel Christmas Collection 2014

The minute November clocks, so does the countdown for the limited edition Chanel Christmas collection. Every year I eagerly scout my favourite counters and quiz them on what is to come. This year was no exception. I glided through John Lewis ready for a preview of the glittery anticipated promise and I was not disappointed.

This year, I feel Chanel have stepped up their game. I love everything! From reds to gold to platinum, Chanel have it all this holiday season. I quickly picked the two I knew I simply could not live without and I am tempted to buy back-ups!

The first product I reached for was the new red nail varnish in Phenix 687. A berry red, more than perfect for Christmas. I was all ready to grab Vamp but after my eyes viewed the rouge, I knew Phenix was the one and one perfect to add to my ever growing collection.

Chanel Le Vernis are my favourite, they last really well on my nails without chipping, they’re glossy and pigmented with two coats being ample, Phenix is no exception and will certainly be my Christmas shade.

I then lavishly indulged in the eye palette, Les 5 Ombres De Chanel. What an amazing palette! This is certainly up there with a Naked, TF & Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow palette. The five shades are incredibly pigmented, creamy and blend like a dream.

If you pick up one beauty product this month, this would be it! The gold shade is a vision of sparkle, I seriously cannot get enough. I use the gold for the inner corners, the white as a brow highlight and the middle shade for all over the lid. I love the deep purple/blue/black shades, such a fun alternative to black or silver!

What a terribly triumphant launch from Chanel, this limited edition collection is my favourite to date, and one that has got me in the christmas mood, along with December Vogue!

What do you think of Chanel’s Christmas capsule?
