British Vogue: My Greatest Edition

As you all know, my dependence on British Vogue is no secret and so today I thought I would share with you my favourite edition thus far, and naturally, Gisele is the cover.

My greatest edition of British Vogue is from December 2011. I explored the Vogue archives, examining the covers to refresh my memory and when I stumbled upon this, I knew it was the one.

Flicking through the pages, spying the elegant Chanel spread and the Christmasy campaigns just enforced my admiration for this particular monthly.

I am a true lover of Christmas time, the couture and winter wear is the best part!

I vividly remember picking this up after work on a saturday during November 2011 and reading it cover to cover. I especially adored the first insert of Tom Ford Beauty.

I do believe I now own that lipstick, if that campaign hasn’t sold it to you, I don’t know what will.

An aspect that caught my eye was the Christian Louboutins Gisele sported on the cover. I was lusting after my own pair of patent Pigalle’s back then and so I was completely sold.

The fact that I now have the Loubs I lusted after, makes it even more special.

The spread of Gisele was pure perfection, I mean who doesn’t obsess over Gisele and those legs and hair and everything else!

There were multiple runners up since metallic neons aren’t typically my colours of choice for evening wear however I just adore this, I think it’s so memorable and iconic.

What’s your favourite edition of British Vogue? I’d love to know!
