Review: Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream

Magic Cream by Charlotte Tilbury was the most reviewed and raved about skincare products I stumbled upon this summer.I consistently saw blog posts and youtube videos praising this transforming jar and so of course, I had to get it!

I am a follower of Charlotte Tilbury and her world-renowned artistry in the fashion and beauty industry anyway and after being a fan of other products in her collection, I knew an adoration for this would be a certainty.

‘Magic Cream’ was entitled by the models that first used the blend, which was mixed by Charlotte herself backstage at fashion shows. It was the only formula that would rescue and rejuvenate their skin after vigorous makeup looks and glam sessions for shoots, events and shows.

Finally Charlotte Tilbury has arrived for the masses at a Selfridges near you and after using the Magic Cream for a month I truly don’t know what I would do without it.

It is massively hydrating and soaks into the skin wonderfully. There is a decadent smell about it that lingers beautifully and the thick consistency really covers the skin well. It also has an SPF 15.

I have terribly dry skin but since using this wonder product, dry foundation patches I see no more! I use it twice a day and after just a few days I saw a huge improvement in my skin, it really does give you a luminous glow and is a great primer for foundation.

The rose gold vintage packaging is to die for and looks luxurious on my vanity. In terms of getting value for money, Magic Cream is 50ml, similar to other skincare of a similar stature, like the L’Occitane Divine Cream 50ml at £72. It is in investment however certainly worth the money, don’t allow the initial cost to sway your decision.

A jar of youth and luminosity to give a complexion lift is exactly what Charlotte ordered, and so if you’re looking for a new skincare product to take into fall, to keep you glowing in the cold months- please look no further.

My product of the Season is Magic Cream, what’s yours?
